Choose the right electric lawn mower configuration

The Greenworks range includes push lawn mowers, self-propelled lawn mowers and sets that combine a mower with another garden tool. These categories primarily describe the product configuration. They do not represent three different power levels.

With a push model, you provide the force needed to move the mower. A self-propelled lawn mower uses its drive system to assist forward movement. Choose between them according to the type of operation you prefer, then consider the cutting width, available functions and package contents.

Models labelled “Without battery” are supplied without a battery. Other products include one or more batteries, while some packages also include a charger. Check each product page before ordering, as two versions of the same mower may have different contents. The model name does not replace the package list.

Compare cutting widths and mowing functions

The cutting widths shown in the collection are 33, 35, 36, 41, 46, 51, 53 and 61 cm. Some sets list two widths because they include a lawn mower and a second cutting tool. The first step is therefore to identify the cutting width of the mower itself.

A wider cutting width does not, by itself, indicate runtime, coverage area or the mower’s functions. Two 46 cm lawn mowers may belong to different battery platforms, use different drive systems or be supplied in different packages.

Depending on the model, grass can be collected in a grass box, managed in mulching mode or discharged to the side. Some models combine two functions, while others offer three. The presence of a grass box does not automatically mean that side discharge is included.

Check the battery platform

The range includes the 24V, 40V, 60V, 48V DVT and POWERALL 48V (24V x 2) platforms. Choose a lawn mower that matches the battery system you already use, particularly when buying a version without a battery.

POWERALL 48V (24V x 2) operates with two Greenworks 24V batteries. This system does not use a Greenworks 48V battery. The 48V DVT platform is a separate family, even though its name also contains 48V. Do not choose a battery based on voltage alone.

Any stated coverage area or runtime relates to the model and battery shown on the relevant product page. When comparing two products, consider the exact model, platform and battery configuration together.

Review the package and equipment

Combination sets may pair a lawn mower with a grass trimmer, hedge trimmer, blower, leaf vacuum or brush cutter. First choose the tools you need, then compare the batteries, chargers and accessories listed in each package.

Some models also feature a brushless motor, folding handle, vertical storage, two battery slots or LED lighting. This equipment is not identical across the range. Check the individual product page instead of attributing these features to every Greenworks electric lawn mower.

The right choice therefore depends less on one figure than on the complete configuration: cutting width, drive system, platform, mowing functions and the actual package contents.
